Debi Graham-Leard’s debut mystery, The Uninvited Guest, features a widow and retired teacher turned amateur sleuth when one of the judges for a big music contest, whom she’s been asked to put up, goes missing, and she, as the host, is the prime suspect. Born in Delaware, Debi lives with her husband and cat in southeastern Massachusetts.
M.E. Kemp (aka Marilyn Rothstein):  is the author of a series of historical mysteries featuring two nosy Puritans as detectives, the series reflecting her love of American history. Titles include Death of a Dance Master, Death of a Bawdy Belle, and Death of a Cape Cod Cavalier.Kemp was born in Oxford, MA, the town her ancestors helped settle in 1713 and where her family still resides today. With her roots going back even further, to Salem, MA in 1636, it is no wonder that she developed an early love of New England history..
J.E. .E. Seymour lives in a small town in the seacoast area of NH.  She has three novels out from Barking Rain Press, "Frostbite," "Stress Fractures", and "Lead Poisoning". She also has a short story collection in ebook form available, "Blackbird and Other Stories".  J.E has had numerous short stories published in print and online. Exercise Your Mind: It's A Mystery to Me Author Panel: Sisters in Crime NE
Join for this mystery author panel, It's a Mystery to Me: Authors Debi Graham--Leard, M.E. Kemp, and J.E. Seymour will be here, to describe the writing process—getting that first idea, creating characters, doing the research, and the daily writing schedule that gets it done.

She attended the Bread Loaf writers conference in 2002 and was a panelist at the Crime Bake Mystery Conference in 2011.

Excess weight has become a prevalent problem in the United States. Being overweight or obese can indicate an unhealthy lifestyle that puts individuals at risk for a variety of further health issues including hypertension, heart disease and diabetes. Healthy lifestyles including healthy eating and regular physical activity habits begin at an early age and can be linked to a number of factors including the social and physical environment. The societal trend toward unhealthy body weight has also occurred among children. The proportion of overweight or obese children in our region is higher than overall rates across New Hampshire. This presentation will provide an overview on what’s happening in the region and what our state, our community and our families can do to tackle this issue.
