OUR MISSION

The Friends of the Gilford Public Library, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving as an advocate and financial supporter of the library.

WHEN WE MEET
The Friends meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 4pm. Please call the library to confirm, as meeting times are subject to change.

BOOKWORM SHOP

Open when the library is open. Come browse our extensive selection of gently used books (adult and children), movies, and puzzles for only 50 cents - $1.00! The Bookworm Shop is located on the lower level, next to the Children's Room.

BOOK SALES

We accept donations of fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback, books on CD, and DVDs. All items should be in good, saleable condition. Please bring your books to the front desk, one box per day per patron, as space can be an issue.

We do not accept VHS, books on tape, dictionaries, encylopedias, textbooks, or anything that we determine to not be in good condition.

Old Home Day is our largest fundraiser held each year on the fourth Saturday in August.

MUSEUM PASSES

The Friends sponsor the passes offered at the Library for various museums and attractions throughout New Hampshire. See Museum Passes on Library's main page for a complete listing of passes available.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM
The Friends sponsor the Summer Reading programs and welcome sponsorships from interested individuals or businesses.

OTHER
Subscriptions, special purchases and programs that enhance Library goals are funded by the Friends.
